A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about keeping well through the winter months. The aim of this session is to help enable Form Tutors to improve attendance by giving students practical advice on how to avoid colds and other bugs during the winter season. The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. The slides in the previews are just a sample and not the whole session.

Climate Change, Democracy, and British Values.
This engaging, hour-long PSHE lesson is designed for UKS2 students. Learners will explore the impact of climate change, how citizens can influence government decisions, and the role of democracy in addressing global issues. The lesson includes an analysis of Greta Thunberg’s powerful speech, followed by activities where students will create and perform their own speeches on climate action. The lesson also covers key British values such as respect, tolerance, and the right to peaceful protest.

Primary KS2 Christmas Quiz
The Ultimate 2024 End of Year / KS2 Primary Christmas quiz - ALL NEW - fun and silly end of year quiz for winter 2024. A huge range of general knowledge questions with something to cater for every student’s tastes - 10 rounds covering a wide variety of fun and amusing subjects and topics. There are 100 questions in all - the images shown are a preview of just a few from each round. Everything is editable with answers revealed at the end of each round:
Round 1: Christmas Crackers
A mix of easy and more challenging Christmas-themed trivia covering a variety of topics. Check out the optional ‘simplify’ button to reveal either a clue or a set of three multiple choice answers.

Round 10: Answer Smash
A final round of Christmas-themed ‘answer smash’ questions in the style of the House of Games TV show.
The quiz is easy to use, interactive and editable. It is best suited to KS2 (Ideally Years 4 to 6), but there are lots of optional clues on the PowerPoint to make it more accessible should you want to use it with Year 3, and with a few tweaks you could even use it with Year 7 if you wished.
I really hope you enjoy this, I enjoyed making it and tried to make it funny so teachers would enjoy using it too. Please note, the preview images have been uploaded so you can see what the resource contains. The quiz is in the zip folder.
2 HOURS - Careers / PSHE Living in the Wider World lesson which covers in detail how to create fantastic CVs and cover letters when applying for jobs. Students will explore poor, mediocre and excellent versions of each of these, analysing where applicants went wrong and how they could have improved, They will explore what makes a successful cover letter and CV, in detail, and then create their own (templates are included). Includes case study examples, clip tasks, partnered activities and more. All editable and easy to pick up and teach for non-specialists.
The lesson includes a detailed, editable PowerPoint, accompanying worksheets, example CVs and cover letters, paired tasks, clip task, templates and much more. Best suited to KS4 (or KS5) but nothing unsuitable for KS3.

In this lesson students will explore a variety of concepts to help them navigate an ever-changing labour market, focusing on different types of employment. The lesson covers: self-employment, full-time and part-time work, zero-hours contracts, freelancing, internships, apprenticeships and many other forms of work. It also examines how the labour market is continuing to evolve, how we have seen a rise in the gig economy, new technologies, flexible working patterns, an increase in people moving for jobs (both nationally and abroad) and many other concepts specified in the PSHE Association’s recommended requirements for Careers Education at KS4.

2 HOURS - In this double lesson students will explore the concept of financial exploitation, with particular regard to online scams and money laundering. They will investigate how easy it is to fall for a scam, the common techniques used by scammers and how to spot one. Students will then focus on a growing criminal industry which young people often fall victim to; money laundering. They will discover how money laundering works, what happens to the victims, the penalties, and how criminals operate to trick people and avoid detection.

Summer Safety - New for the 2024/2025 Academic Year
This newly developed lesson aligns with the 2020 statutory guidance and the former government’s proposed changes to the RSHE curriculum. As part of our Year 3 mini-unit on summer safety, this lesson focuses on staying safe while enjoying time outdoors. Topics include sun safety, staying hydrated, and identifying hazards in local areas or places visited over the summer. We’ll also discuss the risk of child abduction and what to do if approached by an unfamiliar adult.
The lesson is both challenging and scaffolded, featuring a range of engaging activities. It is fully resourced and ready to use, while remaining editable for customisation to meet the needs of your students.

2 HOURS OF CONTENT - New, double lesson all about how we appear to others online and how poor presentation can taint an employer’s view of us. Over 90% of employers admit to screening potential candidates’ social media, so in this lesson students will examine exactly why employers do this, and what they’re looking for. Students will then assess case studies of seven teenagers with questionable or positive social media profiles, giving advice on how they can improve and what should not be posted or should remain private. They will then assess tweets from celebrities and politicians that either made them lose their jobs, or made them lose face in the public eye, investigating why and what we can learn from these.

The Water Safety Code - New for the 2024/2025 Academic Year
This newly developed lesson aligns with both the 2020 statutory guidance and the former government’s proposed changes to the RSHE curriculum.
